Upon leaving the outlet connection of a gas meter, in larger applications, an outlet valve, the pipe, fittings and controls from this point, are the responsibility of the owner of the property to which the pipe is supplying. Normally this outlet pipe would be expected to be routed above ground inside the property, however, it is becoming normal practice for the meter to be sited at distance, from the actual building it is supplying. This is due to a reduced installation price, and the preferred design and cosmetic characteristics of todays architiects.

This type of pipe is installed below surface and is termed an Underground Outlet Pipe.

Our engineers hold valid safety and installation certification, such as NRSWA, CCNSG, CSCS, EU-SKILLS, NIC and CITB, as well as current medical and Police verification cards, to enable Eleni UK to complete installations on 'high risk' sites within petro-chemical, process and production, hospital and medical, schools, sites of scientific interest, research centres, Ministry of Defence and Her Majesty's Prison Service facilities.

All pipework installed by Eleni UK is tested, purged and commisioned to the recognised standard of IGEM UP/1 & UP/1A and all certificates are recorded and copies issued to the client.
